  JOB TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

  

  1) JOB DESCRIPTION

▶ Business Development 

a. Research the Financial Services Market, Luxury Auto and Hospitality Industry in the given coverage area and monitor key trends so as to identify new vertical markets in the responsible segment to promote the entire range of Aspire lifestyles services and form the basis for new products/services.
b. Analyze and map the size of new business opportunities in the short to medium term for planning purposes.
c. Develop an aggressive sales strategy and action plan to achieve budgeted monthly and annual sales and business targets for new business as well as cross selling the range of services to existing customers.
d. Develop Key Account Management Plans for existing clients.  Utilize existing tools to develop strategic plans for clients/prospects.

▶ New Sales Achievement 

a.  Develop new customer prospecting plans which focuses on the tactical aspects of acquiring new prospects and closing sales in line with and to exceed budgeted sales targets.
b. Proactively sell to identified key targets and develop a viable pipeline of new business for the given Fiscal Year. 
c. Work to close new accounts in line with budget and related objectives.
d. Direct account management responsibility over specific customers in Aspire Lifestyles and manage post-sales administration and renewal activity by empowering sales support staff to assist in managing this process. 

▶ Account Management & General Responsibilities

a. Provide top level account management of existing clients by adopting a consultative sales approach and leveraging off the opportunity to up sell and cross sell the range of Aspire lifestyles services.
b. Focus on building long-term, mutually-beneficial business relationship to assist in increasing the yield per client through aggressive relationship marketing.
c. Meet accounts receivables targets and ensure that all accounts pay promptly and within agreed credit terms with zero bad debt accounts.
d. Provide weekly and monthly sales activities reports in line with Local, Region and Global requirements.
e. Responsible for implementation and outcome of marketing promotions activity relevant to the new business market by working via marketing & sales support team.
f. Participate in and support general marketing promotion activities in the department.
g. Provide accurate and timely forecasting and reporting including maintaining an up-to-date SFDC/winis database in line with Regional & Global standards.h. Ensure there is regular face to face contact with all identified customers.i. Assist and train the new BDM/s under Aspire Lifestyles segment. 

2) QUALIFICATIONS

At least 8 years of relevant working experience; preferably experiences in Business Development, with exposure in target markets.
- Bachelor's degree in related fields including but not limited to like Marketing, Business Administration and etc.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English for effective interactions with regional/global teams
Attention to details and results-driven
Customer focus and pro-active in liaising with external and internal customers
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadline
Excellent negotiation skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
- High level of creativity and problem solving skills
- Advanced with MS office products
